Medco Energi’s Takeover Offer for Ophir Energy

Sidley advised Indonesian oil and gas company PT Medco Energi Internasional Tbk on the takeover offer by a wholly owned subsidiary for Ophir Energy plc, a London-listed oil and gas exploration and production company.

Ophir Energy PLC is an independent upstream oil and gas exploration and production company focused on Asia and Africa. The company led by Alan Booth, Anthony Rouse and John Bell, in 2018 recorded $223 Million Revenues.
