Choate advised Mainsail Partners in its equity investment in PestRoutes

Capital from Mainsail Partners will be used to accelerate product development and enhance customer service.

PestRoutes, a provider of business management software for the pest control industry, announced the company has taken an equity investment from Mainsail Partners, a growth equity firm that invests in fast-growing software companies. The company will use the capital to accelerate development of its cloud-based, mobile-friendly software platform used by pest control companies to run their day-to-day operations. Additionally, the company will further invest in its industry-leading customer service to continue to deliver the high quality of service its customers have come to expect.

PestRoutes was created by Green to help with his door-to-door pest control sales efforts. After realizing the existing pest control ERP systems were expensive, dated and bulky, Green focused on building a solution that was powerful, yet easy-to-use by pest control businesses of all sizes. He also recognized the importance of mobile functionality for the end-user and took a “mobile first” approach to building the product.

PestRoutes is a complete, end-to-end software solution which helps Pest Control companies lower operating costs, earn more customers, and increase customer retention. The easy-to-use and mobile-friendly software automates all aspects of field service operations, including route optimization, real-time technician tracking, customer communications, scheduling, sales enablement and billing.

Mainsail Partners is a San Francisco-based growth equity firm that invests in fast-growing bootstrapped software companies. Mainsail, led by Gavin Turner and C. Jason Payne has raised more than $750 million in committed capital.
