Lumenis Completes $245 Million Unitranche Loan from Alcentra


Fried Frank acted as counsel to Lumenis, a portfolio company of XIO Group, a private equity firm, in a US$245 million unitranche facility provided by Alcentra.

Lumenis Ltd., together with its subsidiaries, develops and commercializes energy-based medical systems for use in minimally invasive procedures worldwide. It operates through three segments: Surgical, Ophthalmic, and Aesthetic. The company, led by Zipora Ozer-Armon, Shlomi Cohen, Zhai Qiying, Hiromitsu Kashihara and Brad Oliver, is based in Yokneam (Israel).
