London Legacy Development Corporation’s 190,000 sqm UCL East Olympic Park campus


Hogan Lovells planning lawyers has acted for the London Legacy Development Corporation in its capacity as landowner of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on the application to secure planning permission for a new UCL campus.

UCL East is expected to comprise 160,060 sqm of academic development and commercial research space, up to 50,880 sqm of student accommodation, delivering 1,800 bed spaces, and up to 4,240 sqm of retail space.

The new campus will be delivered in phases as part of the overarching masterplan. Construction of Phase 1 will start in 2019.

Hogan Lovells has advised London Legacy Development Corporation on the redevelopment of the Park since 2010.
