Locus Robotics’ $25 Million Round Funding

Choate advised Locus Robotics on the deal

Locus Robotics has raised $25 million in new funding led by Silicon Valley-based Scale Venture Partners.

Locus Robotics, Inc., an e-commerce fulfillment robotics company, is engaged in the production and sale of robots that improves warehouse labor productivity 5-8 times over traditional cart based methods. The company, led by Rick Faulk, Michael C. Johnson, Bruce E. Welty, Sean Johnson and Mike Sussman is based in Andover (MA).

Locus Robotics will use the proceeds to increase its investments in product development and go-to-market activities, as well as to expand into international markets.

The Choate team on the transaction included Steve Meredith (Picture), Brian Goldstein, Anthony Cahill, and Parker Towle.
