SNP Schlawien has advised LIP INVEST GmbH on the deal.
LIP INVEST GmbH announced the acquisition of two Hermes distribution centres in Willich near Düsseldorf and in Neutraubling near Regensburg as part of an off-market deal.
The leased areas of the acquired halls total around 10,000 m2. In addition, the properties have delivery and traffic areas of 17,600 m2, which allow for the smooth handling of goods via around 60 loading gates. There are 120 car and swap body parking spaces available to the tenant. Hermes has been using the buildings, which were constructed in 2010 and 2011, for around ten years. Both properties complement the portfolio of the open-ended real estate special AIF “LIP Real Estate Investment Fund – Logistics Germany III”. The seller of both properties is the project developer and investor Casaplan Seeliger from Saarbrücken.
LIP Invest is a leading investment house in the asset class of logistics real estate in Germany and currently manages logistics properties with a total lettable area of around 870,000 square metres and a volume of approximately 1.2 billion euros.
