Squire Patton Boggs has advised Lioncroft Holdings on the deal.
Lioncroft Holdings comopleted the acquisition of Lioncroft Wholesale, trading as East End Wholesale Stores. The leading wholesale business, based in Birmingham UK, was acquired from East End Foods, a portfolio company of private equity firm Exponent. The transaction completed on 30th June 2020.
Lioncroft Wholesale, whose CEO is Dr. Jason Wouhra OBE, operates in the wholesale and distribution of food and beverages, paper products, tissue, and office products.
East End Foods, one of the largest Asian food producers and suppliers in the UK, was founded by the Wouhra family in Wolverhampton in 1972. East End Foods was sold to Exponent in November 2019.
The Squire Patton Boggs team advising Lioncroft Holdings was led by Corporate partner Tony Reed (Picture) and included lawyers in tax, real estate, employment and intellectual property from the Birmingham, London and Leeds offices.
