Legal & General Group plc’s Partnership With Oxford University

Slaughter and May advised Legal & General Group plc, on its long term partnership with Oxford University to fund and develop quality affordable student and staff housing and science and innovation space.

The partnership is expected to deliver a programme of up to £4 billion of investment over ten years and will form the cornerstone of L&G’s Future Cities strategy. L&G’s entry into the partnership was announced on 27 June 2019.

Legal & General is a top 20 global asset manager and the UK’s largest provider of individual life assurance products – leading the market in managing retirement risk for pension schemes, both in the UK and US.
