KPS Capital’s Acquisition of Metra

Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP and Chiomenti have advised funds managed by KPS Capital Partners, L.P. on the deal. Allen & Overy advised the sellers.

KPS Capital Partners, L.P. executed the acquisition of Metra Holding S.p.A. and Metra S.p.A. (Metra). The selling shareholders will retain 25% ownership of Metra.

The transaction is expected to close in the second quarter of 2021, and is subject to customary closing conditions and approvals. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Italy, Metra is a global, vertically integrated manufacturer of extruded aluminum profiles and related services, including painting, oxidation, machining, welding and assembly.

KPS, through its affiliated management entities, is the manager of the KPS Special Situations Funds, a family of investment funds with over $12.3 billion of assets under management (as of December 31, 2020).
