Kirby Corporation’s $500 Million Senior Notes Offering


Cravath represented the underwriters, led by Morgan Stanley and Wells Fargo Securities, in connection with the $500 million registered senior notes offering of Kirby Corporation

Proceeds of the offering will be partially used to finance the acquisition of Higman Marine, Inc. by Kirby Corporation. The transaction closed on February 12, 2018.

Kirby Corporation operates a fleet of inland tank barges. The Company led by David W Grzebinski, William G Ivey and Joseph H Reniers, in 2017 recorded $2.214 Billion Revenues.
