Kinzon Capital’s $100 Million Recapitalization

Kirkland & Ellis represented Kinzon Capital on the deal.

Kinzon Capital, an early stage technology venture investor in China, closed a renminbi-to-dollar fund recapitalization. The deal was worth around US$100 million in net asset value and included follow-on capital for new investments.

Fosun Kinzon Capital is a leading venture capital firm backed by Fosun Group, specializing in investments in early and growth stage innovative technology companies in both China and US.

The Kirkland team was led by investment funds partners Carol Liu (Picture) and Damian Jacobs and included transactional partner Shuting Qi and tax partner Mike Greenberg.
