KHS GmbH, a world leading manufacturer of filling and packaging equipment for beverage, food and non-food, and a wholly owned subsidiary of the SDAX-listed Salzgitter Group, and Ferrum AG, one of the world’s leading manufacturer of seaming machines, have entered into a cooperation creating a leading global provider of can seamer machines.
In 2018 the KHS Group and its 5,081 employees achieved a turnover of around €1.161 billion.
As part of the joint venture the US seaming business of KHS and Ferrums’s global seaming business will be merged.
Completion of the transaction is subject to merger control clearance.
