Hogan Lovells advised a joint venture between Keppel Telecommunications & Transport and Alpha Investment Partners (both Singapore) on the acquisition of a data centre in Frankfurt. The volume of the transaction amounts to EUR 76 million.
The subsidiaries of Keppel Corporation acquired the data centre and will operate it on their own in the coming years; the seller Citigroup will remain one of the data centre’s tenants.
This is already the third high-volume data centre transaction on which Hogan Lovells has advised Keppel. Only recently, a team led by London-based Partner Nicola Evans advised the company on the acquisition of two data centres in Milan and Cardiff. The contact also came about via Frankfurt-based Partner Tobias Faber, who is one of the two “relationship partners” for the Keppel Group.
Hogan Lovells has advised Keppel Corporation with Tobias Faber (Picture), Alexander Stefan Rieger, Carla Luh, Martin Griga, Philipp Weihrauch, David Becker (Infrastructure, Energy, Resources and Projects), Bernhard Kuhn, Kathrin Aigner (Real Estate), Marc Schweda, Jan Eggers, Johanna Brock-Wenzek (Antitrust), Mathias Schönhaus (Tax), Victor De Vlaam, Peter Stokking (M&A) and Anton Louwinger (Tax).
