Johnson Controls’ $625 Million Green Bond and €1 Billion Senior Notes Offerings

Johnson Controls International plc (“Johnson Controls”) executed its offerings of $625 million aggregate principal amount of 1.75% Senior Notes due 2030 (the “Green Bond”), €500 million aggregate principal amount of 0.375% Senior Notes due 2027 and €500 million aggregate principal amount of 1% Senior Notes due 2032, each co-issued with its subsidiary, Tyco Fire & Security Finance S.C.A.

Johnson Controls intends to allocate an amount equal to the net proceeds received from the offering of the Green Bond to finance or refinance, in whole or in part, certain eligible green projects. In addition, Johnson Controls intends to use the net proceeds of the Euro-denominated notes offerings for general corporate purposes, including the repayment or redemption of near term indebtedness.
