John Wood Group plc’s Nuclear Business Sale To Jacobs U.K. Limited

Slaughter and May is advising John Wood Group plc on the sale of its nuclear business to Jacobs UK Limited, a subsidiary of Jacobs Engineering Group Inc., for a cash consideration of approximately £250 million.

The sale is conditional on, among other things, competition clearance, and is expected to close before the end of Q1 2020.

Jacobs UK Ltd. distributes steel pipework and ducting components. The Company also offers rotary valve, sliding damper, coupling, and a range of polyurethane flexible hose. Jacobs provides its products throughout the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland.

John Wood Group PLC is a multinational energy services company with headquarters in Aberdeen, Scotland. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index.
