J.C. Flowers & Co and Bain Capital Credit’s Purchase Of An Equity Stake In The Co-operative Bank

Macfarlanes has advised J.C. Flowers & Co and Bain Capital Credit on the deal.

J.C. Flowers & Co and Bain Capital Credit acquired an equity stake in The Co-operative Bank from BlueMountain Capital.

The acquisition, which is subject to regulatory approval, will see J.C. Flowers & Co and Bain Capital Credit becoming significant investors in the bank alongside its five other existing financial sponsor investors.
