Ivanhoé Cambridge’s Acquisition Of Alte Post Quartier In Berlin


Clifford Chance has advised Ivanhoé Cambridge on the acquisition of the Alte Post Quartier in Berlin.

Private equity investor Commodus was co-investor in the transaction and will now act as asset and development manager, overseeing the project.

The Alte Post quartier is a mixed-use inner-city project located in the Berlin district of Neukölln, a fast-growing cosmopolitan area. The highly attractive asset of over 16,000 square metres comprises already fully let office spaces, new residential apartments and services such as a restaurant, a gym and storage facilities, partly still under construction.
