International Leadership Texas’s $357 Million Education Revenue Bonds

Hunton Andrews Kurth represented International Leadership Texas (ILT) as Bond Counsel in its $357 million Education Revenue Bonds Series 2018D & 2018E.

The transaction, which is the largest charter school transaction ever completed in the United States, involved 15 separate campuses in 10 jurisdictions, as well as the complexity of negotiating and financing with the underwriting syndicate.

With more than 18,000 students, ILT’s mission is to prepare its students for exceptional leadership roles in the international community by emphasizing servant leadership, mastering the English, Spanish and Chinese languages, and strengthening the mind, body and character.
