ING’s First Green Multi-Currency Credit Facility To The Hines Pan-European Core Fund

Simmons & Simmons has advised ING on the origination of the first green multi-currency credit facility to the Hines Pan-European Core Fund.

Next to the existing €40m finance for Werfthaus, a prime office building located in Frankfurt, the loan will provide £32m finance for an urban logistics park let to international handling company Dnata, located near the cargo area at Heathrow airport, London. Both properties have strong green credentials, with above-average energy efficiency and sustainability certificates such as DGNB and BREEAM.

The Simmons team was led by Munich-based banking partner Michaela Sopp (Picture), supported by Counsel Judit Körmöczi.
