Impact Oil and Gas’ Farm-outs to Total in Namibia and South Africa


Bracewell LLP has advised Impact Oil and Gas Ltd (Impact) on the farm-out to subsidiaries of Total S.A. (Total) of a 70 percent interest in Block 2913B, offshore Namibia and 77.78 percent of Impact’s interest in Orange Basin Deep TCP in South Africa. Both are deepwater exploration blocks.

The farm-out of Block 2913B is complete and the farm-out of the Orange Basin TCP awaits government approvals.
