DLA Piper has advised Landesbank Hessen-Thüringen Girozentrale (Helaba) on the financing of the purchase.
A joint venture of IMFARR Beteiligungs GmbH and SN Beteiligungen Holding AG executed the acquisition of the office tower „Silberturm“ in Frankfurt am Main, through a share deal. The transaction volume for the entire site amounts to around EUR700 million. Helaba is providing a substantial part of the senior financing for the „Silberturm“. In addition to the senior financing provided by Helaba, the funding was provided through a structurally subordinated mezzanine line.
The „Silberturm“ is located in a prime location in the Central Business District (CBD) of the city of Frankfurt am Main between the main train station and the banking district. The high-quality and functionally equipped „Silberturm“ is fully leased to Deutsche Bahn AG.
