Krogerus advised Ilmatar Energy on the deal.
Finnish company Ilmatar has acquired the project rights for the 42MW Korpilevonmaki wind farm in Finland.
The wind farm is planned to be built in the Korpilevonmäki area of ??Säkylä. The construction of the project is expected to start by the end of 2022 and, once completed, the wind farm, with a total of seven wind turbines, produces new clean energy to Finland’s national grid with a nominal capacity of about 42 MW. The annual reduction of emissions brought by the new wind farm would correspond to CO2 emissions caused by 80 million kilometres of motoring.
Ilmatar Windpower Plc is the parent company of Ilmatar Group, which operates across the whole value chain of wind power production. They have long experience from project development and building wind farms to long-term electricity production as well as technical and commercial management through our subsidiary Ilmatar Service.
