Clifford Chance advised US chemical company Huntsman Corporation on the acquisition of Sasol’s 50 percent stake in the former joint venture Sasol-Huntsman GmbH & Co. KG.

The company operates more than 75 manufacturing, R&D and operations facilities in approximately 30 countries and employs approximately 10,000 associates globally.
Sasol-Huntsman is one of the leading suppliers of Maleic Anhydride (MAN) in Europe. The production site is in Germany in Moers on the left bank of the Niederrhein.
