Humana’s $1 Billion Debt Offering

Simpson Thacher represented underwriters, led by BofA Merrill Lynch, Barclays and Wells Fargo Securities, in a public offering by Humana Inc.

Humana Inc. offered $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.125% Senior Notes due 2029 and $500 million aggregate principal amount of 3.95% Senior Notes due 2049.

The company intends to use the proceeds from the offering to refinance existing debt.
