HomeStreet’s Successful Proxy Contest against Roaring Blue Lion Capital


Sidley represented HomeStreet, Inc. (NASDAQ: HMST) in its successful proxy contest defense against activist hedge fund Roaring Blue Lion Capital.

The shareholders of HomeStreet voted to reelect all of the Company’s director nominees by more than 79% of votes cast. Shareholders also rejected Roaring Blue Lion’s proposal to separate the Chairman and CEO roles.
