Home Consortium’s Initial Public Offering

Baker McKenzie represented Home Consortium, while Gilbert + Tobin represented the underwriters on the deal.

Home Consortium completed the launching the initial public offering of a new real estate investment trust (REIT), known as the “HomeCo Daily Needs REIT.”

HomeCo Daily Needs REIT also executed the registration as a managed investment scheme (and associated financial services matters) as well as the acquisition of three properties which will form part of the portfolio, with an aggregate value in excess of AUD 220 million.

Home Consortium provides real estate services. The Company offers leasing and development of properties.

The IPO will raise AUD 300 million and is fully-underwritten by Goldman Sachs Australia Pty Ltd and Macquarie Capital (Australia) Limited.
