Hines European Core Fund’s Acquisition of Mariendalsvej 55-57 in Frederiksberg

A company managed by CBRE Investment Management announceed the sale of a company owning a newly built property of approximately 14,000 sqm at Mariendalsvej 55-57 in Frederiksberg, Copenhagen. The buyer is Hines European Core Fund whose focus on the Nordic market has increased by its fourth acquisition in Denmark in two years.

The property consists of 50 common residential leases and 38 student accommodation leases (with 174 rooms), two commercial leases and 75 underground parking spaces. The buildings were completed in 2019 and adhere to the Nordic building traditions of simple and modern lines and are situated in Frederiksberg, known for its many parks and green spots. All residential leases have a terrasse, and the property also has a roof terrace.

The transaction value was well above half billion DKK.
