Guillevin’s Acquisition of Dubo Électrique

Guillevin International, a leading electrical material distributor, completed the acquisition of Dubo Électrique Ltd., a distributor of electrical, lighting, automation and control products in Québec.

Guillevin International is a wholesale distributor of products and equipment for the construction industry. With 1,200 employees based in more than 100 locations across Canada, Guillevin distributes a wide range of products deriving from multiple worldwide manufacturers.

Dubo was founded in 1955, and now encompasses seven operating branches (Montréal, Laval, Saint-Hubert, Sainte-Adele, Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu, Trois-Rivieres and Québec), as well as a 100,000-sf distribution centre. The company will continue to operate under the Dubo name and all jobs will be maintained under the new ownership.
