Google’s $1 Billion Acquisition of Sunnyvale Campus

Holland & Knight represented Verizon on the sale of its campus in Sunnyvale, California.

The property was acquired by Verizon in connection with its acquisition of Yahoo! and has served as a home to Verizon Media.

Verizon Communications Inc. is an integrated telecommunications company that provides wire line voice and data services, wireless services, Internet services, and published directory information. The Company also provides network services for the federal government including business phone lines, data services, telecommunications equipment, and payphones.

The campus consists of land and improvements containing seven office buildings totaling approximately 940,000 square feet plus a development site with entitlements to build an additional 340,000 square feet.
