GlobalWafers’ $469.2 Million Offering of Global Depositary Shares

Simpson Thacher represented the initial purchasers, Nomura and Citi, in connection with the US$469.2 million offering of global depositary shares by GlobalWafers Co., Ltd.

The offering was led by Nomura as sole global coordinator and Nomura and Citi as joint bookrunners, and conducted in reliance upon Regulation S under the Securities Act of 1933.

GlobalWafers is a leading global silicon wafer manufacturer based in Taiwan, and its shares are listed on Taiwan’s GreTai Securities Market.
