Honorato, Delaveau advised Gestión de Proyectos Eléctricos on the deal.
Gestión de Proyectos Eléctricos closed the financing, refinancing and restructuring of credits granted by Banco BICE for an approximate original amount of 45 MM from 5 hydroelectric plants (PMGD), operating in Chile.
The operation was unique and very challenging because it involved the parallel renegotiation and restructuring of the debt of 5 different companies, all with Project finance and guarantees for the entire project in just two weeks. The operation also implied the prepayment of the existing financing of CORFO (state entity) and the contracting of derivatives to set the rates.
Gestión de Proyectos Eléctricos (GPE) is a privately owned Chilean company specialising in the development of non-conventional renewable energy power plants.
Honorato, Delaveau advised Gestión de Proyectos Eléctricos with Matías Langevin (partner), Carolina Veas (senior associate), Antonia Silva (associate), Isidora Rencoret (associate).
