Gerdau S.A.’s $154 Million Sale of its Subsidiary in Chile

Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego y Dörr and Barros y Errázuriz advised on the deal

Gerdau S.A. finalized the sale of its subsidiary in Chile to a consortium including MATCO Cables, Ingeniería e Inversiones, Hermann von Mühlenbrock, Italo Ozzano for $154 Million.

Gerdau S.A. provides steel-related products and services worldwide. The company, led by André Bier Gerdau Johannpeter, Cláudio Gerdau Johannpeter, Harley Lorentz Scardoelli, Peter John Campo and Guilherme Chagas Gerdau Johannpeter, is based in Porto Alegre.

Urenda, Rencoret, Orrego and Dörr Abogados advised Gerdau S.A. with Gonzalo Rencoret Portales (Picture), Nicholas Mocarquer, Raúl Gómez and Bernardita Schmidt.

Barros y Errázuriz advised MATCO Cables, Ingeniería e Inversiones, Hermann von Mühlenbrock, and Italo Ozzano with Pablo Guerrero, Bernardo Simian, Carlos Ducci, Sergio Eguiguren, Francisco Bórquez and Diego Ovalle.
