Frasers Hospitality’s SG$250 million investment to develop a new serviced residence in Tokyo


Clifford Chance advised Frasers Hospitality, a member of Frasers Property Group, on its SG$250 million investment to develop a new serviced residence in Tokyo’s Ginza district.

The property will be launched under the Group’s millennial-focused hotel residence brand Capri by Fraser. It is expected to open around 2020.

In 2016, the Firm had also advised Frasers Hospitality on its appointment as the manager of another serviced residence in Tokyo’s Akasaka district under the Group’s Fraser Suites brand, which is also expected to open around 2020.

Clifford Chance advised Frasers on the deal with a team led by Partner Leng-Fong Lai (picture), supported by partner Eiichi Kanda, senior associate Yoshiaki Shimizu and associate Yosuke Nomura.
