Francisco Partners and Renaissance’s Acquisition of Nearpod

Kirkland & Ellis advised Renaissance Learning on the deal.

Renaissance Learning, a leader in student-centered, pre-K–12 personalized practice and assessment, entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Nearpod, a leader in teacher-facilitated instructional delivery. The acquisition will create an instructional operating system that combines live instruction and in-the-moment insights with personalized practice and assessment. 

UBS Investment Bank served as financial advisor to Nearpod in this transaction.
