Foley & Lardner LLP advised FourKites on the deal.
FourKites, a leading real-time supply chain visibility platform, announced a new Series D financing round that attracted $100 million in growth financing from Thomas H. Lee Partners L.P., Qualcomm Ventures LLC, Volvo Group Venture Capital AB and Zebra Technologies. Existing investors August Capital, CEAS Investments, Hype Park Angels, Hyde Park Venture Partners and Bain Capital Ventures also participated. The total capital raised for FourKites now sits at over $200 million.
The latest round of financing represents a fundamental shift underway in how companies are managing global supply chains. Introduced in 2014, FourKites was the first platform to offer real-time supply chain visibility, and it now helps many of the world’s largest companies to power and optimize global supply chains through real-time data and machine learning. Tracking over 1 million shipments daily, FourKites helps organizations lower operating costs, improve on-time performance and foster stronger customer relationships.
