Fondo de Inversión HMC Deuda Privada Andina’s $40 Million Fundraising

HMC S.A. Administradora General de Fondos completed the negotiations with BID Invest (“BID”), the financial branch of the Inter-American Development Bank and the International Finance Corporation (“IFC”), the financial branch of the World Bank for them to invest in “Fondo de Inversión HMC Deuda Privada Andina” (the “Fund”), a closed-end regulated investment fund that invests on private debt securities in Chile, Colombia, and Perú.

Furthermore, HMC executed the amendment of the internal regulations of the Fund, to allow the investment by the BID and the IFC on it, and to include in its internal regulation, all of the BID’s and IFC’s requirements.

Is the first time that  BID and the IFC will invest on an investment fund in Chile. The internal regulations of the Fund had to be amended in order to include the regulations required by both entities and also with the regulations granted by the local regulator.
