Filinvest Development Cayman Islands’ US$200 Million Notes Offer

Walkers acted as Cayman Islands counsel to Filinvest Development Cayman Islands.

Filinvest Development Cayman Islands (the “Issuer”) issued US$200 million 4.125% Senior Unsecured Notes unconditionally and irrevocably guaranteed by Filinvest Development Corporation (“FDC”). This represents FDC’s first US dollar-denominated bond issuance since 2013.

UBS AG Singapore Branch was the Sole Global Coordinator, with UBS AG Singapore Branch and Standard Chartered Bank as Joint Bookrunners. China Bank Capital Corporation, Metropolitan Bank & Trust Company, PNB Capital and Investment Corporation and Union Bank of the Philippines acted as the Domestic Lead Managers for the transaction.

The Walkers team was led by Hong Kong-based partner Nicholas Davies (Picture) with assistance from associate Sonya Saxena.
