Fibra INN’s $56 Million Rights Offering


Holland & Knight represented Fibra INN in its successful rights offering of US$56 million (approx. MX$1 billion).

The offering took place from July 13 to 25.

Through the offering, holders of the real estate trust certificates (CBFIs) with ticker symbol FINN 13 were given the exclusive right to acquire additional CBFIs in order to increase their participation in the company. Around 94 million CBFIs were placed and 523 million CBFIs are now outstanding. This represents a capital increase of US$56 million.

UBS and BBVA Bancomer acted as intermediaries of this transaction.

Fibra INN is a Mexican trust formed primarily to acquire, develop, operate and rent a broad range of hotel properties in Mexico. The company has a portfolio of high-quality real estate properties throughout Mexico for business travelers.
