FFI Holdings PLC’s Initial Public Offering on AIM Market of the London Stock Exchange

Latham & Watkins advised FFI Holdings PLC, the world leader in the provision of completion contracts to the entertainment industry for films, television, mini-series and streaming products, on its successful institutional placing of new and ordinary shares and its admission to trading on AIM, a market operated by the London Stock Exchange.

The Placing comprised a placing of 20,997,375 new and 18,372,703 existing ordinary shares of 1 penny each at 150 pence per share to raise gross proceeds of approximately £59 million.

Since 2008, the FFI group has issued completion contracts to all the leading financiers involved in the entertainment industry, unlocking funding for approximately 1,700 productions with gross production budgets estimated to be in excess of US$17 billion. Since its founding in the 1950s, these productions include many of the film industry’s best known-titles, ranging from the first Bond movie (Dr. No, 1962) to The Hunger Games (2012) and Oscar winning films such as 12 Years a Slave (2013) and La-La Land (2016).
