EuroChem’s $410 Million Acquisition of Salitre Phosphate Mining Project From Yara

Norton Rose Fulbright and Veirano advised Yara, while Dentons and Mattos Filho advised Eurochem on the deal.

Yara Brasil Fertilizantes S/A executed the sale to Eurochem Comércio de Produtos Químicos Ltda. of its Salitre phosphate mining project in the city of Serra do Salitre, State of Minas Gerais, Brazil. The transaction valued USD 410 million (BRL 2.107.400.000,00 based on current exchange rate).

EuroChem launched potash production at its Usolskiy site in 2018 and has since ramped up output to Phase One operational capacity of 2.3 MMT per annum.
