Alma STA advised Etichettificio LGL S.p.A. in the transaction.
Etichettificio LGL S.p.A. (“LGL”) acquired 100% of the shares of Sefran Etichettificio S.r.l. (“Sefran”), a company active for over 25 years in Italy in the production and distribution of self-adhesive labels.
As part of the operation, the Domeniconi family becomes part of the LGL-Prisma-Sefran Group shareholder base.
Sefran is a label factory based in Santarcangelo di Romagna (Rimini) founded in 1993. Since the early 2000s, the company has focused on digital printing, making it one of the pioneers of the Italian market. To date Sefran operates in a factory of approximately 2,600 square meters, equipped with 4 digital printing machines and 2 flexographic printing machines and many finishing and control lines. In 2020 the company recorded a turnover of approximately 4.4 million euros.
LGL has been operating since 1980 and is today a reference company in Italy for the production of labels. The company serves every industrial sector and has a particularly significant know-how in the Food sector. LGL inaugurated its new factory in 2016 with 6,300 covered square meters where it has printing machinery with the most advanced flexographic and digital technologies as well as cutting and control tables equipped with scanners. In 2020 LGL recorded over 11 million euros in turnover.
