Ergon Peru’s $142 Million Financing for Peru Solar Project

Paul Hastings LLP represented SMBC and Cofide, as lenders in connection with the $142 million financing of an off-grid solar project in Peru developed by Ergon Peru, a subsidiary of Tozzi Green

The project, expected to be completed in 2019, will bring electricity to traditionally under-served areas of the country and will include the installation of 173,000 solar kits including solar panels, cabling and LED lights for homes, schools and clinics.

Tozzi Green S.p.A. offers solutions and services for the generation of energy from renewable resources. The Company specializes in the development, construction, installation, and management of wind farms, biomass, biogas, and solar and hydroelectric power plants.
