White & Case advised Softbank Vision Fund II on the transaction.

Envelop Risk closed its US$130 million Series B financing, with Softbank Vision Fund II, as lead investor.

Envelop Risk is a leading data-driven underwriting and risk analytics business, which uses artificial intelligence to drive decision making and risk modelling. Headquartered in Bristol, UK, with offices in London, Bermuda, and San Francisco, Envelop Risk’s proprietary model assesses a wide range of companies, their susceptibility to cyber-attack and the sophistication of their defenses. That data is then benchmarked against emerging and historical attack trends to predict expected losses, which allows for a better understanding of reinsurance pricing.
