Hogan Lovells advised Encavis AG on the deal.
By the acquisition, Encavis AG is expanding its own generation capacities in the wind segment. In addition, with Finland the company is investing again in an interesting growth market of its already highly diversified portfolio.
Encavis AG is one of the leading independent Pan-European producers of Renewable Energies. The company, listed on Deutsche Börse AG’s MDAX, operates solar parks and (onshore) wind farms in various European countries.
Paltusmäki wind farm is located close to the Baltic Sea coast in the northern Finnish region of Nordösterbotten. It comprises five Enercon wind turbines of a state-of-the-art permanent magnet technology, making a gearbox redundant and reducing the susceptibility to faults to a minimum.
