EnCap Investments’ $1.2 Billion Fundraising

Vinson & Elkins LLP advised EnCap Investments L.P. on the deal.

EnCap Investments L.P. announced the successful formation of EnCap Energy Transition Fund I, L.P. with total commitments of approximately $1.2 billion. The fund was created to invest in companies that advance the nation’s transition to a lower-carbon future with a focus on creating wind, solar and energy storage enterprises.

The V&E corporate team was led by partner Robert Seber (Picture) with senior associate Carson Dimick and associates Daryne Foote, Elizabeth Janicki and Blair Hendrix.
