Elsan, France’s second-largest operator of private clinics and hospitals, and Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), a leading U.S. private equity firm that manages multiple alternative asset classes, closed the exclusive agreement for the acquisition of the C2S group of generalist clinics from Eurazeo Patrimoine.

Dechert’s international team led by Paris-based partner, Sabina Comis (Picture), advised KKR on the tax structuring aspects with support from Etienne Bimbeau, associate. The team included in New York Steven Clemens, partner, and in Luxembourg Olivier Gaston-Braud, partner.

Latham & Watkins advised Elsan  with Thomas Forschbach, Alexander Crosthwaite, Simon Lange and Ornella Capillon.
