Silverfleet has entered into exclusive negotiations with Element Solutions Group for the sale of Coventya, an international specialty chemicals company headquartered in France, with the closing of the transaction, scheduled for Q3 or Q4 2021, is subject to regulatory authorizations.
Founded in 1927, Coventya is a leading developer and manufacturer of specialty chemicals used for surface treatment in the general metallization industry. The company, present in 60 countries on four continents, employs around 700 people across 12 production sites and 10 research and development centers. The company manufactures a wide range of products used in many industries, including automotive, luxury and consumer goods, construction, aviation, data storage and energy.
