Linklaters advised the banks on Edenred’s bond issue for a total amount of EUR 600 million. Cleary advised Edenred
Barclays Bank Ireland PLC, Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank and Société Générale acted as Joint Lead Managers and Global Coordinators and BNP Paribas, Citigroup Global Markets Limited, Commerzbank Aktiengesellschaft, HSBC Bank plc and J.P. Morgan Securities plc acted as Joint Lead Managers.
The bonds have a maturity of 9 years and bear interest at 1.375% payable on June 18 each year, commencing on 18 June 2021. They have been admitted to trading on Euronext Paris since 18 June 2020.
The proceeds from this issue will be used by Edenred for general corporate purposes and to refinance the bonds issued on 30 October 2013 for an amount of €250 million maturing on 30 October 2020.
