eBay’s Acquisition Of Australian Cox Automotive Media Solutions

Hogan Lovells represented eBay in its agreement to acquire Cox Automotive Media Solutions.

Upon closing, the company will join Gumtree Australia, part of the eBay Classifieds Group portfolio. Financial terms were not disclosed.

Cox Automotive Media Solutions owns CarsGuide.com.au and Autotrader.com.au. The latter platform is a virtual marketplace with approximately 2,300 dealers and approximately 90,000 listings. CarsGuide.com.au is a resource for sellers and dealers to access research and content to buy and sell vehicles.

eBay Inc. is an American multinational e-commerce corporation based in San Jose, California, that facilitates consumer-to-consumer and business-to-consumer sales through its website.
