DuluxGroup’s €1.2 Billion Acquisition of Cromology

Bredin Prat and KPMG Avocats advised Wendel on the transaction. DuluxGroup was advised by Clifford Chance. Jeausserand Audouard advised Cromology.

Wendel, reference shareholder of Cromology, has finalized the signing of an exclusive agreement with DuluxGroup for the sale of 100% of the capital of Cromology, for an amount of 1.26 billion euros.

Present in 8 countries in Europe, Cromology designs, manufactures, sells and distributes a wide range of decorative paints and decoration products for the professional and general public markets. 65% of its activity is in France, 35% in southern European countries and the rest of the world.

Final completion of the transaction is expected to take place in the first half of 2022, subject to the necessary regulatory approvals.
